Colour Profiles for Centrifugal Optimisation

Abstract Centrifugal optimisation is difficult with manual sampling and colour determination in the laboratory. The colour varies within each charge and between the centrifugals. A large number of samples is required to get an overview of the performance of the centrifugals. Before the samples have been analysed the massecuite and the conditions in the centrifugals have changed.
The ColourQ makes real-time measurements of the sugar colour. For each centrifugal it draws a Colour Profile for each discharge The Colour Profile shows the performance of the centrifugals and displays immediately the result of any adjustment. |
